Why am I different?

My belief is that until you understand why you do what you do, you will continue to repeat it.

My approach is to guide you to another way of thinking so you can access your God-given power to achieve your health goals. I will give you practical and biblical tools to help you get to the root of why you do what you do. My 5-step model which is the basis for all of my books and courses also form the foundation for my one-on-one coaching.

I have a soft-stop for women who fear failure and judgement because I'm in recovery from those fears and understand how all-encompassing and debilitating they can be in every area of your life.

Lastly, I understand that total health encompasses all aspects of your life, not just your physical health, so our sessions will address you as a whole person—soul, body, and spirit.

How does the coaching work?

I will guide you on how to bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be by helping you discover the variety of factors that have been blocking your success.

We will discover roadblocks and obstacles, and implement practical strategies so you can overcome them, all while referring to biblical principles.

After an initial consultation, our first session is called the ‘Discovery Session’ – where we spend the majority of time developing expected outcomes and goals and establishing a clear focus for our sessions.

After the first 2 or 3 foundational sessions, we will move through the 5 steps model and you can also you bring any topic of discussion you want to the session and we’ll explore it. You are always at choice about what you wish to talk about, explore and move towards (or away from).

The initial session is 1.5 hours in length, then subsequent are 50 min. long.

How long do we work together?

I offer a Kick-Start one month introductory session to help you establish 1 'keystone' habit in your health. These sessions are solely for 1 specific concern (coaching with writing your vision, develop of a meal plan or workout program)

If you appreciate that change takes time and want to truly overcome what's keep holding you back from achieving your ideal weight, I will invite you to partner with me for another 4 month or 12 month coaching packages.

We meet 1x per week virtually. The time between our calls will allow you to practice and apply some of the strategies and principles we discuss. I put a high emphasis on practice. Practice makes progress is one of my philosophies.

Why should I invest in coaching?

A coach can help you to make the shifts in your life that you're unable to make on your own.

If you've been yo-yo dieting for as long as you can remember; if you want to learn how to incorporate your faith into your health journey; or you know there's more to health than just diet and exercise, I can help.

In the end, hiring me as your coach should be a very prayerful and personal decision. This is why I provide a free 30-minute introductory session so you get to know me and I can get to know you. After that session, both of us together can decide whether a coaching relationship makes sense.
