It’s amazing how your life can change in a relatively short period of time. It was just over 5 years ago that I was a single mother living in subsidized housing and feeling somewhat content yet resigned to the ‘fact’ that my life would always be a struggle. I believed that for some reason my life would be more difficult than other people’s and my circumstances seemed to prove it. Struggle was part of my B.S. (belief system).

Of course, most people did not know of my struggles because it felt even more noble to suffer in silence.

Fast forward to today – I’m married to a wonderful man, living in a beautiful home that we own. I’m the founder of the 21-Day Challenge and the Haven program and author of 2 books ,with many more on the horizon. I share this with you, not to brag but to let you know where I’m coming from so you can understand why I’m so passionate about helping women get to the root of their limiting beliefs. Freedom is available to you too!

I used to let my limiting beliefs and fears paralyze me to the point where I would sooner hide out in bed all day than take action on the things that I knew God had called me to do.

As I reflect on what made the difference, I realize that it was not just one person or coach but many mentors, prayer warriors and teachers that continually encouraged me and prayed for me over the years, as well as a commitment to understanding how your fears can stop you dead in your tracks. These limiting beliefs negatively impact your weight loss progress, as well as every other area of your life. But as you gain confidence in who you are in Christ, you will learn to shed your B.S. and develop health beliefs based on God’s promises to you.  That’s what you learn in our Haven Program.

In the next month we will be rolling out a number of changes in our Healthy by Design programs and I’m so excited to share them with you.

1. Automated 21-Day Challenges

Our 21-Day Weight Loss, God’s Way Challenges have been life-changing for so many women all over the world but they’ve grown too large to manage and we felt that it’s a shame to have people wait 4 months when they are in need of help right away.  So, by May 1, 2016 everyone will be able to start the 21-day challenges whenever they like! Now you can tell all your friends and family and they can get started right away.

In April 2016 we will be releasing our Healthy by Design devotional guide. The best way to describe it is to say that it is a summary of the 21-day Challenge experience. This means that you relive the challenge everyday, as often as you like, complete with a daily devotion, closing prayers, action steps, and even the daily music we used!

3. Haven E-course

Lastly, I know many of you who participated in the 21-Day Challenge wanted to take our Haven Program but for a variety of reasons ranging from financial constraints to bad timing, you were unable to do so. Well, my husband, Preston, and I have been working hard so we can offer you the Haven program in an affordable, e-course format. Very soon you will be able to learn  how to get to the root of your weight loss struggles at your own pace. Of course, nothing beats the small group approach but we think that this is the next best thing. You can also look for this coming in the next month.

Talk about enlarging my territory! All of this would never have happened if I stayed in my ‘poor me, life is such a struggle identity’. I would never have had this incredible opportunity to be used by God to bless thousands of women all over the world.

Beloved, know that your prayers have already been answered but it’s time to shed the B.S. that keeps you stuck.

I will keep you posted on when all of these exciting changes will take place, but in the meantime, notice what your limiting beliefs are and begin to turn them over to God.

There is freedom for your body, soul and spirit!
