ACTIVITIES

Workout in the gym, go for a nature walk, or relax by the water. 

LODGING

These newly constructed lodges embody relaxed luxury and serve as the perfect getaway for those desiring renewal. The lodges feature spacious, family-oriented guest rooms, each with a private bath, queen or king bed, and one to two bunk beds.

Indulge in sophisticated comforts as you enjoy breathtaking inland or lakefront views, a fully appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and an expansive lounge- meeting-dining area.

Lodging will be randomly assigned in one of the resort’s lodges. The lodges are perfect retreat settings with rooms that feature a king or queen bed and bunk beds (no upper bunks will be assigned).

You will learn who your roommate or roommate(s) are and your room assignment when you arrive onsite. We will need the flexibility to move assignments up until the conference date to make the best use of the available accommodations.

When does the retreat start and end?

The retreat starts on Friday, April 22nd at 5:00 p.m. and ends on Sunday. April 24th at 10:30 a.m. 

What is the retreat about?

The retreat will celebrate the accomplishments of women who have released weight, God’s way; it’s an opportunity for like-minded health conscious women to connect; it will offer training on healthy eating, caring for your temple and renewing your mind; it will inspire you to continue pursuing your health goals and much more!

What if I have a special diet?

There are 5 meals included in your package and they are all buffet style so there are plenty of options to suit all dietary needs and tastes. 

What is the volunteer certification?

Take our on-site training at the retreat to become a certified WLGW Ambassador. As an ambassador, you’ll be coaching women through a program that has already helped over 100,000 women around the world. If you’re inclined, it can also be an opportunity to generate some additional income if you want to begin a 21-Day Challenge Ministry. We’ll give you all the tools to get started.  

Can I bring my family? 

You are permitted to bring up to 2 additional family members with you, bearing in mind that this is a women’s only event and attendees must be 18 years and older to attend. If they do not meet this criteria, they are welcome to stay at the retreat and take advantage of the other retreat activities. All guests will be required to pay the retreat fee (less the conference portion). Registration options for non-conference attendees will be available as you proceed through the registration process. 

What is the average temperature?

Check the weather before traveling, but typically in mid-April you can expect highs around 64 and lows about 46 degrees

What time zone is the resort in?

Eastern

If I purchase a double or triple occupancy room, how will my roommate be assigned?

You may list your roommate(s) during the registration process, or write “need roommate” if you would like the conference committee to make the assignment. Assignments will be made randomly, and you will find out your roommate when you arrive.

What is the dress code?

We want you to be casual and comfortable so that you can enjoy the retreat. So if you are most comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt, or a blouse and khakis, oversized shirt and leggings . . . go for it. Be sure to bring workout clothes for morning exercise and activities you may want to participate in during your free time. Wear comfortable shoes. Formal wear is requested for the Red Carpet Event. We are in a Christian environment, so just keep that in mind and you’ll be fine.

What if I need to cancel?

A commitment has been made to Gull Lake to cover a certain amount of rooms. If you are unable to attend, you may receive a full refund if written cancellation is provided by January 15th, 2022. After this date a 50% fee will apply. For questions, email [email protected]

1. Volunteer for the Retreat

If you would be willing to volunteer to assist in some way, please email [email protected] and we will be in touch in early February. Volunteering won’t require you to come into town any earlier or to change your plans in any way. We would ask that you assist us with some aspect of the event for a short time during the program.

2. Become a Retreat Sponsor

We are looking for sponsors to help us in this endeavor. Our wish is to keep our expenses low in order to assist with sponsoring ladies who may not otherwise be able to attend, and to keep the cost as low as possible to help those who are attending. Your support and contribution will enhance the quality of our retreat. We’re asking our sponsors to provide one or more of the following: monetary donations that will go directly for attendee registration or small gift items and giveaways. We are willing to meet with you to discuss the common interests between you/your organization and our Celebration Retreat. All sponsors will be recognized in the retreat program. Please contact us by email ([email protected]) if you’re able to help support our mission. We look forward to hearing from you.

We don’t want anyone to be left out due to a lack of funds. If you are willing to donate funds towards another sister’s hotel and travel expenses, please include your donation during registration.
