The 10 Things to Know Before Starting the 21-Day Weight Loss, God’s Way Challenge


The Weight Loss, God’s Way Challenge is a Christian online program that challenges your subconscious beliefs about weight loss so you can stop wasting time and money on fads and gimmicks and obtain a healthy weight while strengthening your faith.

This Challenge is the first step of our 3-step Breakthrough system for permanent weight loss. We are sharing it with you for free so you can understand the factors that are hindering your weight loss. Our goal is to help you understand why you do what you do so that you can empower yourself to make permanent change.


If you’re looking for a ‘here’s-what-to-eat-and-what-exercises-to-do’ program, then this might not be for you, at least currently. Our program will take you deeper than the traditional ‘eat-less-move-more’ approach, and show you why many Christian women are subconsciously programmed to fail. There are numerous factors that affect your weight and you’re going to learn them all in this challenge.


Everyday for 21 days, plus a couple of days before and after, you’re going to receive a 5 minute video message from me that contains a lighthearted skit and daily challenge. They will arrive every day at the same time so it’s SUPER IMPORTANT that you get your emails.

2.  Spend some time in prayer

3.  Complete the daily challenge

4.  Hop over to our Facebook Support Group to post your feedback and connect with other women.

If you don’t see your daily email, look in SPAM or JUNK immediately (or other tabs in GMAIL) and move my email to your Inbox, being sure to follow the prompts to tell your email server you want these emails to end up in the Inbox.

Please add me as a safe-sender, star my email, or create a filter that makes them go to your Inbox. Even if you get a few to your Inbox, some may end up in the wrong place and I don’t want you to miss ANY of this content!


After you’ve watched the video and spent some time in prayer, hop over to our private Facebook group to post your feedback, comments, insights, and victories. It’s important to post daily to stay accountable and connected.


To all my fellow perfectionists and control-freaks out there, resist the urge to try to do too much; try to do it perfectly; obsess on weight loss, or try to do it your own way without support and accountability. Trust me, it will not work. Practice taking action steps everyday and learn to master the skill of discipline. Commit to doing every challenge, but if you miss a day, don’t sweat it. Just jump back on board the following day.

Your success will largely depend on your ability to turn this process over to God and trust Him to help you learn new healthy habits to lose weight.


Thousands of people have been blessed by this Challenge and many take it repeatedly. However, it can only work for you if you commit to the process. Leave yourself time daily to watch the video, do the daily challenge, reflect, and post in the group. Personally, I do it right after my morning devotion time because life tends to get super busy after that. The more you participate in the process, and in the group, the more you will benefit from it. If you’re too busy right now and don’t think you will be able to commit the time, then I suggest you wait instead of frustrating yourself by adding one more thing to an already over-packed schedule.


We don’t charge for the basic online Challenge and you’re free to quit at any time. I can’t imagine why you would though :). If you don’t feel you’re being blessed by the daily videos, you can unsubscribe to the emails at any time. Even though we’re providing it free, this program is valued at over $300, so don’t take it for granted. In fact, why not tell someone else about it?


We do our best to convey the daily messages in as entertaining a way as possible. Plus the discussions in the Facebook group can be inspiring and entertaining as well. Have fun, be transparent, and be sure to make some new friends in the group.

    Hi from the Netherlands.

    I am a mom to a wonderful 1 year old girl, Bente. I am originally South African and moved to the Netherlands in 2011 to marry the most amazing Dutchman.

    I have struggled with different phases over the past years losing my best friend to cancer, moving from South Africa to the Netherlands, ministry life / being a pastors wife, infertility treatments for 2 years and now momlife.

    I used to love sports and being outside. But I have found myself feeling (like the Dutch weather) a little grey and sad. So instead of going to the gym (that I actually like doing) I stay home, on the couch and eat.

    I did the same thing last night and ate way too much chocolate.

    This morning I felt God really moved my heart to look for a new reading plan on YouVersion and that is when I found this program.

    I look forward to see what God is going to do…

    Good day team,

    As a once chubby young woman who lost nearly 22kgs on a very good diet programme, I have had a relatively fit and streamlined 15 years behind me. The last few months have convinced me I have an unhealthy relationship with food. Its a fact and no matter how much I sugar coat it, I need to sort it out. I have put on a bit of weight in the last year or so and I cannot shake it off.. repeated efforts. The last 10 years or so I have not had a healthy work-life balance (by choice as I love my job) and the only difference is the years are now counting against me. I am turning 47 in a few short months and my metabolism seems to be dragging itself forward at a very slow pace. The mental, physical and health impact that this is having affects how I see myself and how I see the world. My Dr has also warned my that this is showing up in my tests with regards my heart and other aspects. NOTE: I might still be in my BMI bracket (by not much) but my health isn’t! I hate cooking with a passion and avoid it at all costs. I have now taken a prayer request from my prayer box, putting it on the web and trusting God to walk me through this the healthy and more importantly, REALISTIC way. Prayers all round to my fellow ladies … 🙂

    Hello! I have joined this challenge because I have never thought about including God in my weight loss. I have been stuck at the same weight for a couple of years. I am frustrated beyond frustration, if that’s possible. I finally realized that I’m trying to do it in my own without His help. So, I have high hopes and want to finally break through this chain that is around me called 50lbs! Thanks for offering this for free. As I’m sure you can imagine I’ve spent countless dollars on weight loss and nothing has worked. God is free! He already paid the price. Excited about this

    Hi. I’m Colleen. I believe this challenge is an answer to my prayers. I told God I wanted to live in supernatural health this year and weight loss is part of that. Then, I found your devotional on the Bible app. I’m excited to get started and begin a lifestyle change with the help of God!

    Hi my name is polly,
    I’m 50yrs old, married 22 years & have 4 kids 31,25,22 & 17.our 17 yr. old ous disabled &in a wheel chair and so we are very busy & physically challenging for me.want to stay healthy, I’ve lost 58 lbs on natural nutrilite since Jan 2016 but, need more off, but need more support and realizing i haven’t fully given this to God.
    But, it’s hard to find a church that adaptive to his needs & ours and supportive. But,we never leave God out. He’s always with us. I’m doing this program with my sister. Praying together on face time. And Bieng accountable for each other.
