Yesterday was one of those days where I had every intention of going to the gym but I ended up on the couch instead.

My husband and I had scheduled a 5:30 pm gym workout, but as I walked downstairs to […]

  • Hi Kim, thanks for your transparency.

First off, the longer you put off exercise the harder it will be to start so I suggest lacing up your shoes and do something TODAY, even if it’s just 5 minutes. The key is to quickly end the inertia.

Secondly, don’t make anything a rule. You will only crave it more. Start with one day, see how you feel…[Read more]

  • You are blessed indeed RuthAnn.

  • Amen Suzanne, you are blessed and highly favoured.

  • Praise the Lord Gloria, one day at a time!

  • Amen Erin, continue to speak God’s promises over your life!

  • AMEN, what beautiful workmanship He has created.

  • AMEN, Beverly, be sure to save these in a journal to remind yourself when the enemy tried to make you believe anything other than what God says about you.

  • Amen Susan, yes you are. The scale can not determine your self-worth.

  • The enemy is always waiting to pounce Toni, we can’t give him a foothold. Are you taking the next course after the challenge? You need to go deeper and get to the root of why you keep going around the same mountain over and over. https://www.cathymorenzie.com/haven

  • It’s not uncommon that members email me prior to starting the 21-Day Challenge to tell me a bit about themselves.

Although I’m not insensitive to what they’ve gone through, I can quickly see how some […]

    • I am blessed, chosen, adopted accepted, redeemed & forgiven (Ephesians 1:11-12) child of God 🙂

    • I am who God says I am and He is who God says He Is. I love that!! I’m Suzanne, a person who makes excuses….. NO! I’m suzanne and I am a fun loving person who has a weight issue. This weight is not what defines me. My character God gave me is who I am on the inside. Everything outside is temporary 😉

    • I am a person for whom God has made great plans, for whom He will do a new thing. I am blessed and highly favored. God knows everything about me because He made me – fearfully and wonderfully. And he cares about the things that concern me.

    • I am Tanisha, a daughter of a King. I am fearfully and wonderfully made and blessed beyond measure.

    • I am a child of God, saved by His grace. I have nothing to boast about or be ashamed of. I am God’s workmanship and before the beginning of time, He prepared for me the good works I will do in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8-10 (CSB) 8 For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift — 9 not from works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do.

    • “Hi, I’m Joy, I’m a daughter of the Most High God. I am who God says I am and I can do all that God says I can do. My life is blessed and highly favored, and I prosper in all I do.”
Because I am a daughter of God, He cares about the things I care for. When I commit all that I do to Him and leave it at His feet He will prosper me.
My weight has been a constant problem in my adult life Father, today I am laying it at Your feet and I will not pick it up again. I will work at it daily because I know that strength that is in me is not my own but is from Christ Jesus. Thank You for taking me on this journey and making me depend on You to be successful. I will honor you in BODY, soul and heart. Amen

    • I am blessed was chosen the apple of His eye a daughter of the Most High. I can do all things through Him. He cares for me He has a plan for me. My weight does not define me.

    • Good morning my name is Beverly and when I look at the way God see me….it reminds of the song that Blanca sings….. Who I am…

Am I strong Beautiful Am I good enough Do I belong After all
That I’ve said and done Is it real When I feelI don’t measure up
      Am I loved
I’m running to the One who knows me
Who made every part of me in His hands
I’m holding to the One who holds me
‘Cause I know whose I am, I know who I am
      Fearfully Wonderfully Perfectly

Those are only a few words to the song that reminds me who I am…

      • AMEN, Beverly, be sure to save these in a journal to remind yourself when the enemy tried to make you believe anything other than what God says about you.

    • I’m Peggy, the daughter of the most High God and I’m blessed and highly favored. How are you doing today?

      • Beautiful prayer, Shirleyann. Here is a song that has really helped me: I will trust in you by Lauren Daigle.

    • I am practicing truly giving things to God. My weight loss journey. Finishing my degree. Finding a new job. My husband finding a new job. Raising our child right. Paying these bills. Today’s blog post reminds me to be content in whatever state I am in and to press forward WITH CHRIST to become more like Christ. The things that I desire are the things I believe line up with God’s will for my life, and because of that I must remember that through right praying, right thinking, and right actions, He will help me to achieve what is in His will. In Jesus’ name!

      • As I read this, i feel the Lord gently tugging on me and saying “come on. Let me show you”.

        • Yes Kate, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matt. 11:28-30

    • I’ve been an emotional, stress eater my entire life. I tried each new diet that came along, sometimes being successful and maintaining a good weight for a while. But never really feeling good about myself and thinking I would eventually gain it all back. With the 21-day Challenge I learned how to begin changing my former way of thinking and how to turn my weight issues over to God. Letting God be in control was what brought me success in the program. I am now in the Break Through phase and continuing to learn more about my food issues, and feeling much better about myself and continued success.

      • Glad you are continuing the journey Cheryl to become all that God wants you to be and have the abundant life He promised.

    • I have been overweight my entire life. I have always stressed out about everything. I am on day12 of the challenge and with God’s help I am standing strong. I pray for Jesus to continue to take my burdens. I know there are things to do but I am trying more each day to give Him the burden and to trust that He has it under control. I have been visualizing the oxen yoked together then see me yoked to God, following as he teaches and leads me.I am increasing my prayer time and exercise. I plan to increase my Bible study as I continue on this journey. Thank you Cathy for stirring my spirit.

    • I loved the 21 day challenge. I knew God was in it with me. I was loving it. When the 21 days were over I returned to my old ways…the weight released is slowly creeping back. I can do all things with Him…I need Him.

  • It is definitely your season Nicole, honoured to be walking this journey with you.
