• Praise the Lord for your victories Diane. Yes, it is a slow process but it will be lasting instead of quick and temporary.

  • Wonderful Victory. Keep up the great work with the Lord as your strength

  • Yes, get ready for a new season Anita.

    • Hello Jo! What amazing news, so excited to hear about your role at Healthy By Design. I am especially moved by Cathy’s words about your background and your “passion for helping women break strongholds.” May the Lord be pouring into you everything you will need in this new role–for what He will have you pour out on this beautiful group of women in need of that freedom.

  • You’re most welcome Stacey.

  • So glad you were blessed by it Geraldine. God’s truths are so full of wisdom and blessings.

  • So glad you made it on a call Geraldine. Don’t you just love how the Holy Spirit confirms things!

  • Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10

  • The problem is not with ‘dairy and honey’. The issue is with the overconsumption. “If you find honey, eat just enough– too much of it, and you will vomit.” Proverbs 25:16

  • Yesterday one of the members in Haven asked me a question that I’ve struggled with for many years. Maybe you’ve asked yourself that same question.

    “How do I let go?”

Here’s the scenario: You know that you s […]

  • Over my 30 years of training clients, I realize that the issues with weight loss are not, ‘what to eat’, ‘how much sugar you consume’, or ‘what exercises to do’; so I stopped making that the focus. Yes, of course […]

    • I read this two times. Some I say no, right away. Others I think I can relate to. Several are YES. Will make a copy and do some soul
searching. Thanks for sharing this Cathy.

    • WOW! I just read this after doing my FIRST Saturday morning group which was based on Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God”! To say that God is really trying to tell me something is an understatement! He is about really transforming my mind and I am EXCITED this morning! Thank you Cathy for walking the path before us and gleaning all that you have learned so you can teach it to us so we can be free also!!!!

  • You’re welcome Yvonne, so glad you can see changes already.

  • The other night in our Breakthrough Training Call, a member said she was surprised that I still considered myself in the ‘training’ stage of my health and weight loss journey.

The training stage is what I ref […]

    • This was so powerful. I know I will rely on my training wheels for awhile, but prayerfully I will get to where I need them less and less. I’m already seeing some improvements, but I’m a work in progress. Thanks so much for sharing this.

    • This was such an incredible email. There is so much in it to think about. It is rich in truth and i really yearn for that truth to be fully realized and I walking in it.

  • Congratulations on your success to date Michele, it’s so important to remain connected and inspired.

  • Praise God for his timing and divine intervention! Have a wonderful challenge!I know what you mean about having to work twice as hard to compensate for a poor diet. Been there (and still am there sometimes) All the best my sister.

You got this, with the Lord as your strength!

  • This past weekend I saw a video that altered the course of my Thanksgiving weekend (our Thanksgiving is in October), and hopefully, the rest of my life. I’m excited to share it with you.

    • Thank you for sharing Cathy! I’m actually on day 1 of the 21 day challenge, and instead of going straight home from work, I decided to sit in my car for a few minutes and read up on anything that would distract me from my usual habit of binge eating after 7pm. I saw your e-mail and wanted to say that it was right on time! Thank you God! I too have known the negative effects of sugar and have done an elimination diet—only to later regress, and fall deeper into the sugar binges. This reminder, including the support from you and the group, and of course God’s almighty power—gives me inspiration and motivation to stay hopeful and to believe that I CAN begin to create new and healthy “lasting” habits. I’ve been physically active since my 20’s but my diet has always been like a rollercoaster. People always that I “look good and fit” but I know that it’s just because I’m having to work out twice as hard because of my eating habits. Knowing that you have gone through a similar journey is very encouraging to me. Thank you for being truthful and God bless you!

    • Cathy, finally watching this video and reading your encouraging words about detoxing sugar. It is very interesting and something that I have personally been working towards even before the 21 Day Challenge. Thank you for sharing it. I am hoping to continue to work towards this – now that I am “back”! I would be curious to know if some of the paleo recipes that are for desserts are equally as bad. And also- God brought the Israelites into a land of “milk and honey” so I feel that God had not intended for us to be off all dairy and sweet things- however there must be a balance to keep us balanced, right?
