I’m so excited (and nervous) about the release of my latest book, Reflections of God’s Love, on March 1st.

Reflections of God’s Love, is a beautiful collection of devotions, prayers, declarations, scriptures, quotes, and songs to guide you through our 21-day journey to permanent weight loss, God’s way.

Where my original book, Weight Loss, God’s Way, introduced these principals with biblical examples, this book takes a matured look back on them through the shared experience of thousands of women who have put them into practice in their own lives. It’s designed to be a loving reflection on God’s love and principals that you can return to again and again for renewal and refreshing.

Each of the twenty-one daily devotions, will guide you back to the understanding that it’s really not about the number on the scale. What we really want and need is to be FREE.

We want to be FREE from obsessing about our weight; free from having to measure food, plan food, make time to go to the gym, or weigh in; free from emotional eating, stress over what we’re going to wear, and how many calories we can or can’t eat.

The freedom we’re seeking is found in understanding and accepting God’s overwhelming and steadfast love for us.

As we learn to give and receive it, all the other cares of this world will fall away. When love is the foundation of all we do, the Holy Spirit will cast away everything that does not align with who God has called us to be–including the excess weight.
