It’s My “Birfday!”

It’s My “Birfday!”

Me singing, “Go Cathy, it’s my birfday, go it’s my birfday!!”Β πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

I’m basking in a spirit of love and gratitude on my birthday today. I want you to know that I am soooooo grateful that you are part of my life, even if it may only ever be through cyberspace. May the Lord bless you abundantly!!

Quick weekend birthday message to you– “STAY FOCUSED.”

Don’t let anything distract you from achieving good health.Β  Do something today and everyday to keep advancing your goals. Your health is important to you, so don’t let distractions take you off track. The sacrifices you make today will be worth it in the end.

Even though it’s my birthday, I will not veer off my daily routines. I still woke up at 5:00 A.M. this morning and spent time with the Lord. I still did my hot yoga in my bathroom (I’ll tell you about that another time) and Preston and I still headed out for our daily hike. For my birthday celebrations, we’ll head out for an active day of snowshoeing.

Birthdays/Holidays Don’t Equal Binging

It never used to be like this. My birthdays usually meant lots and lots of cake, wine,Β  junk food and binge-watching TV. That would spill over into Valentine’s Day the following week followed by 2 months of frustration and guilt playing catch up.

Now that I’m focused and have submitted this journey to God. I refuse to let birthdays, or Valentine’s Day throw me off of my routine and you can do it, too! It’s just not worth it.

Don’t relax your standards and don’t let yourself off the hook because it’s the weekend, or your birthday. Be as focused as you are during the week. Plan your meals, get organized, get in some extra exercise and do what you need to do to remain focused and disciplined.

Weight Loss, God’s Way would love to help you reach your health goals. Join our community of amazing ladies today.
